
5 foods to boost your immunity

There are many naturally available foods that are nutrition rich but below 5 should be added to your diet to make it even better and boost your immunity.
- Ghee: Ghee may help in Weight management, having low Glycemic index, give Satiety, Cure constipation as acts like laxative , reduce acidity , help to improve skin because of fat soluble vitamins it carries. Have atleast 1 spoon of Ghee in a day by mixing in any of your favorite sabji or milk or food.
- Turmeric: Its rich in curcumin which is an antiseptic and you can add it in milk or all vegetables
- Colored Fruits and Veggies: it’s called rainbow diet, you should have as many different colors of fruits and vegetable as possible. These are rich in Vitamin, Minerals, Antioxidants and fiber. 5 serving of both of these including raw fruits as well as salads or sabji
- Probiotic: Present in Curd and buttermilk. Make sure to have one cup of each daily to improve your gut.
- Protein: Paneer, Nuts, eggs, Dal, sprouts, soy chuks etc are best options.
Probiotic and Prebiotic:
Pro-biotic: are living bacteria or microorganisms which are present in buttermilk, curd, Yogurt. These contain live lactobacilli, we inject in our body externally and they increase microfloara in large intestine.
Pre-biotic: like we need food to eat, there are microorganisms present in large intestine which need food to multiply. They help us in healing, digestion, fight toxins. This food is available in fibre like oats, sprouts etc. Any food rich in fiber is a source of prebiotic. Once they reach into large intestine, micro organisms present there feed on them and multiply.
