Golden Rules to know for good health

  • When you plan to shred weight, you need to reduce your carbs intake and rest will be managed on its own. Replace carbs with protein.
  • Carbs are of 2 types Starch and Sugar. Starch comes from all food grains like Wheat, Rice, Corn flour from which we make Roti, Pasta, noodles, Biryani etc and sugar comes from processed or natural sweet stuff of any type including Cheeni, Gur, shakkar, Fruit Juice, Fruits etc
  • 1 Gram of Protein and Carbs each give 4 calories and 1 gram of Fat give 9 calories. Means Calories 1 g of Protein gives-4, 1g of Carbs-4, 1 g of Fat-9.
  • Calories will determine your weight, macro nutrients like carbs, protein and fat will determine your look and Micro nutrients like vitamins and minerals will determine how you feel.
  • Never eat Naked Carbs in the morning or anytime during day, cover them with layers of protein. If you are have a cookie or tea with sugar which are naked carbs you need to have few dry fruits along with them so that they do not go directly to blood stream and spike your glucose level. By wrapping them, you will delay consumption time which will help in better health.
  • Keep your Breakfast as well as Lunch Heavy and your dinner light as much as possible. Also Dinner should be done by max 8 pm.
  • For optimal cell function, proper hydration and healthy digestive system, drink 3 litres of water everyday. 10 glasses.
